Worldwide real estate listings search engine GLOBAL LISTINGS announced this week that the company's new spinoff proptech venture - BETTER MLS - is now scheduled to launch its own national Realtor-powered listings search platform and website in Q4 of 2023.
BETTER MLS is currently building a new national consumer-facing real estate listings search platform on BetterMLS.com. The website will exclusively be powered by licensed real estate agents' and brokers' verified listings all across the United States, that will include Residential, Commercial, Vacation and Land listings currently for sale, rent, auction or exchange.
Once launched, another key differentiator of BETTER MLS' new platform is that unlike other existing national listings search platforms today, all buyer leads generated from each online listing will exclusively be routed to the actual listing agent of that specific listing, and at no cost.
One additional benefit of the platform's "Your Listing -- Your Lead" thinking is specifically for consumers. They too will now be dealing directly with each listing's authorized agent, not a third party middleman agent when inquiring about any property listed on BETTER MLS.
"As a new stand-alone company, we (Global Listings) are excited about the future prospects of BETTER MLS as its own separate operating company in 2023 and beyond," said Global Listings CEO and founder Michael Gerrity.
Effective March 1st, 2023, BETTER MLS is commencing its own new round of $80 million of private venture funding to further build and deploy the company's new listings platform in late 2023, and significantly scale and accelerate the company's revenues in 2024 -- when the U.S. housing market is in full recovery mode.
Once fully funded, the platform will primarily be owned, managed and governed by its new Realtor investor-owners, nationwide.
Gerrity further commented, "Once BETTER MLS is launched later this year, we look forward to creating enormous new shareholder value in the coming years for all our real estate agent and broker owner-partners across America".
