Music icon Madonna has sold her Beverly Hills mansion for $19.5 million, just five months after parting ways with her New York luxury duplex.
The Material Girl's mansion in the coveted 90210 area code was first marketed as a pocket listing last year. This summer it entered the market with a $22.5 million price tag, and the singer finally sold it for $3 million less.
Madonna purchased the 17,000-square-foot home almost 10 years ago for about $12 million, the L.A. Times reports. The singer expanded the property and completed a renovation in 2010.
The property's listing is rather coy, as it doesn't include inside shots and offers only an aerial view of the home. But the listing description offers a glimpse behind the walls of Madonna's home.
Sitting on 1.25 acres, the nine-bedroom mansion is accessed by a 500-foot tree-lined driveway, according to the listing. The home includes a two-story dining room, a junior dining room, a theater/screening room, two offices, gym, an art studio and bar.
The property also features a resort-size pool, two guest houses and a tennis court.
Madonna is no stranger to the real estate game. Over the years she has collected properties in New York and London. Last May, she sold her duplex in Manhattan for $19 million to a hedge fund manager. She purchased a 30-acre Hamptons horse farm from Kelly Klein in 2009 for about $5 million, according to Real Estalker.
Noted for pushing the boundaries in mainstream music, the singer is known for her performances and award-winning music hits including "Vogue," "Borderline," and "Material Girl."
