(DUBAI, UAE) - Cityscape Dubai closed after four days of bigger crowds than ever before. According to the organizers, more than 70,000 visitors from 150 countries attended what was billed as the world's biggest business-to-business real estate exhibition...and turned out to be exactly that.

Rohan Marwaha, Managing Director of Cityscape, explained that the exhibition had to be extended an additional hour each day to accommodate the guests who clearly were not intimidated by the real estate climate in some parts of the world. Traffic in central Dubai was tied up for hours by visitors' cars and taxis.

"It emphasizes," Marwaha said, "that while the world may change, we at Cityscape remain intent on a strategy of showcasing emerging real estate market opportunities to an international audience wherever they may be."

That audience, Marwaha explained, was not people coming "to buy individual properties. It is an investor-level, international business-to-business show. A key strength is the access Cityscape offers to some of the wealthiest and most liquid property investors in the world."
